Evenepoel is finally back!
Remco Evenepoel is a 21-year-old Belgian cyclist, who at his young age has already won national, European, and world championships. Despite the injury he received in August at the Tour of Lombardy, he announced that he intends to participate in the May competitions.
Evenepoel, a member of Deceuninck-Quick Step, during the race, fractured his pelvis after hitting the wall of a bridge and plunging 10 meters into a ravine.
Although in September he was already able to walk without crutches, recovery took him longer than he thought.
Fortunately, this Monday the doctors approved of his training, so he is confidently determined to return and participate in the competition on May 8 at the Giro d’Italia.
